I would install JAWS8 and see how that goes. (If you like the Soilo Synth voices, you could install them that way too.) Carlene, I always use the forms mode so that part is understood. Steve's idea of alt plus down arrow doesn't work. So I think I will have to take Flore's suggestion and add the jaws 7.01 patch. While I was using I E 6, the patch caused trouble with jaws 7 so I went back to just 7. However, now I think I'll have to try it again. Your issue is one of the reasons why JAWS7.0 with IE7 is not recommended. Hi: If I'm not mistaken, clmbo boxes can only be accessed with forms mode on. at least, that's been my experience.
