Re: [JAWS-Users] edit fields
You can turn off forms mode in the jaws setting center, or just make the forms mode delayed to give you a chance to ei ther hit enter, the space bar, or to just move off the edit field before it turns on forms mode. [JAWS-Users] edit fields sometimes not working in internet explorer 8
Hi all Using Jaws 13 with internet explorer 8 on a windows xp. Lately something very strange is happening. For some reason or other when going into sites like youtube and google and trying to type something into the edit field, the text does not register. And yes I did make sure that forms mode is activated. Has anyone found this before? And why is this happening? Very strange! André, How are you typing the text? From the QWWERTY keyboard, or from your braille display keyboared. there is another Google thingy that could be causing it, though not sure at the moment how to put that 'to bed'. - Original Message - From: André van Deventer andred...@webafrica.org.za To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Sent: Friday, March 02, 2012 2:30 PM Subject: [JAWS-Users] edit fields sometimes not working in internet explorer8 Hi all Using Jaws 13 with internet explorer 8 on a windows xp.
