You could always try the Overdrive library service. I'm sure if you set the 
search parameters starting at the least expensive with an Amazon Kindle book 
search, you'll also get a bunch of free titles. To keep it on Jaws topic, my 
understanding is that the Overdrive desktop application is Jaws accessible.
Same with the Kindle for PC. Whether actually reading an ebook would be an 
enjoyable experience...that will be a matter of opinion. I know I didn't care 
for the accessible Kindle software.

My method for returning to where I left off is to add qqq to the text
and save. Then when I open the file I search for qqq and voila! I
chose qqq because it isn't a string of characters you would normally
find in any text.
