I believe the problem is with firefox now since when i try to make firefox the default browser it doesn't make the change even though i execute the alt+shift+d or press enter on the button to do so. very strange problem. thanks. Go to Internet Options (for example from the Tools menu witting an IE window or by using the Control Panel) and, in the Programs tab, uncheck the option to check if Internet Explorer is the default browser.
