hmmm, i think you may need to update your sound card drivers or maybe 
try doing a system restore to a time before the problem started.

here's another thing to try, you should do a repair of jfw and see if
that will fix the problem. to do this, simply insert your jfw cd and
follow the prompts. there will be a selection to choose from to
modify, repair, or uninstall jfw, choose the the repair opton. hope this
helps.

Presently the speech that jaws makes has a reverberation type echo, almost a 
stutter but more mechanical. This started when I used Cdex to copy a cd 
audio book to MP3. I used the extract to compressed file under the convert 
menu to do this copy to MP3. It worked except the resulting irritating jaws 
chatter. I have a feeling that it not a jaws problem, but something that has 
to do with what in the computer makes jaws work. At the beginning of this 
extract there was some dialog box about a skuzzy - sorry not sure of the 
spelling of that, being desperate, I pressed OK.
What might I do to get my old jaws back?

fix that kind of trouble. and , of course, a reboot can also help.

Hello: You might try to Press the Jaws Curser (The outside Key on the Top 
Right Side of Keyboard)-This is on the Jaws Keyboard on the Right Side of

This problem started a week ago when I was anxious to copy an audiobook for
