You would ruote JAWS to PC with the JAWSKey+NumPadMinus, the top 
rightmost key of the numpad. Then press DownArrow a few times till you 
get the info you want. then press the PC Cursor key, NumpadPlus.

For word count simply do a alt T and then press the letter W.

Well, when ever I've done that, I always had to route jaws to pc or press
insert b.
