Re: [JAWS-Users] microsoft Sapi 5 volume

2014-08-29 Thread Mike O'Brien
Hi

While you are using Reed as your active voice, open the start menu and type
Adjust system volume. As I tab through the volume dialog on my Windows 64
bit system, I hear 2 entries that say JAWS for Windows FSSynth32 com object
up down slider. You can use up or down arrows, or page up and page down, to
move these sliders. When I moved the slider on the first entry that said
JAWS for Windows FSSynth32 com object up down slider, Reeds volume changed.
When I moved the second occurrence of this slider, nothing seemed to happen.
As you've already seen, you can't change Eloquence volume using the JAWS
Voice adjust dialog.

system volume. In that dialog, there should be an entry for the application
you're using Anna with. On my computer, adjust system volume said that the
volume for JAWS was at 100%. But the JAWS voice adjust dialog said that
Anna's volume was set to 75%. So when I increased her volume in the JAWS
