That happens to me jaws saying ctrl alt f4 instead of just alt f4 occasionally. But if I unload jaws inser f4 and bring it back with my hotkey the problem goes away. . - Original Message - From: Marvin Hunkin To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Sent: Saturday, May 02, 2009 9:22 PM Subject: [JAWS-Users] strange jaws problems HI. well, could not find a repair jaws options. so downloaded and had to uninstall jaws, then reinstall it. then, now when i do alt f it says alt control f and when i do a alt f 4, it says a control alt f 4, and nothing happens. so where can i find the repair option in jaws 10. cheers Marvin. ps: now using windows mail and i have to press the alt key, then arrow down to send message, and the menus and keyboard keys do not work. If AWS starts talking funny, or saying weird things, I have also found that unloading and reloading it back usually solves the problem. -Original Message- From: jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Leonard Morris Sent: Saturday, May 02, 2009 12:51 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] strange jaws problems That happens to me jaws saying ctrl alt f4 instead of just alt f4 occasionally. [JAWS-Users] Strange Jaws Problems
Hi. using a toshiba a 300 satellite psa g4a, and i notice that when jaws starts up, and my machine gives me a sound it is starting up and then another sound for the desktop, jaws does not come up on the login screen, and got automatic login, as the only user on this machine. it takes ages to start up, and does a sort of wining or some sort of whistle. and then jaws starts up. if i leave the machine say even for 10 minutes to do things, it stil whistles, or jaws is a bit sluggish. what could be causing this and how to fix this? would a scandisk and defrag help. had the machine 4 months, and just noticed this the last few weeks. any suggestions. cheers Marvin.
