I'm not on Win7 at present. you mentioned zoom there a while ago. that is in the View menu, and has nothing much to do with the Window state. Now that you have apparently set your window to be maximized, when you press ALT+SPACE, X you should hear Maximize unavailable. When I go on the internet every webpage is Minimized , but I still can use the website. I did everything that was told to me. Patti you mentioned zoom there a while ago. that is in the View menu, and has nothing much to do with the Window state. Now that you have apparently set your window to be maximized, when you press ALT+SPACE, X you should hear Maximize unavailable. Patti The properties to be dealt with here are not to be confused with the properties in internet Explorer itself. Microslip there! Find internet Explorer in your Start menu, All Programs; Shift+f10 on it, and arrow up to Properties; press Enter. Now in the Shortcut tab control, press the tab key a few times, till you come to the Run combo box, which has three settings: Normal window; Minimized; Maximized. the best option seems to be Normal, although you can choose Maximized. (If you do choose Maximized, Internet Explorer may take longer to load [pages. such has been my experience.)
