I could find the phone number if I wanted it, I still say, it should all be
accessible, even returns which I am sure they do not like.

If you need to contact Amazon Customer Support, here is the phone number:
888-280-332 1. There is nothing that you have to do to contact them, just
call the number and someone will answer. Sorry that I didn't read this

My experience is that while AMAZON whill enforce the return garuntee as well
as keeping the delivery date, it is often better to click on the link to
contact the seller directly. They will often respond quickly with
replacement as well as without mailing charges so as to avoid Amazon's
mandates and negative reviews.Of course this will vary with the vendor and
cost of the defective item.

What version of JAWS and MSIE?
I have recently used this site with no issues, try alt+down arrow or pressing
return on the part that asks for the reason for return.

the customer service email for amazon is
cs-re...@amazon.com
you should tell them the problem you are having with the return form and
tell them you are using a screen reader. I just returned an instant video
which had no sound. I explained I am not comfortable using the telephone
and customer service chat is not good because chat crashes my computer.
they promptly refunded my payment so they are good about returns, maybe
they'll email you a return form along with a post paid mail label you can
print out!

Re: [JAWS-Users] trying to return an item to Amazon

2015-07-17 Thread Steve
I haven't tried that in a couple months, but you have two options.

If you're having problems with the pop-up menu, have you tried their
screen-reader site
www.amazon.com/access

As I recall, when you highlight the item you want to return, there is/was a
combobox where you select the reason. Then, you hit continue. You'll be taken
to a page where you can print out the return label.
