Re: [JAWS-Users] which email client with windows7
For what it's worth I would suggest windows live mail. It's free and works sort of like Outlook Express in XP but with more functionality (and complications). Re: [JAWS-Users] which email client with windows7
Hi Fanus, I use Windows Mail on my Windows 7 machines, and have had no problems with it. It looks like Outlook Express for the most part, and works with Jaws just fine. Although it isn't set as the default e-mail client in Windows 7, it can be activated for use by following the instructions that David has posted on the Jaws-users website. I also have the restart instructions and files for windows mail on my grab bag website (address/link under my name) but be warned some who have installed it have had troubles with major updates like sp1 for windows 7 afterwards (not proved to be because of the windows mail re-invocation but it is suspected) and no windows mail is the mail client provided with windows vista, not windows live mail, that is an entirely different product. also if they haven't been mentioned thunderbird and Eudora (the last supported version) work in windows 7 as well elf . Re: [JAWS-Users] which email client with windows7
Hi Trish, I haven't seen any specific brands or models discussed in the Microsoft Knowledge Base so far. I would say that more often than not, the service pack slides in without problem. It is a good idea to stay away from problematic systems, but none have been identified at this point. Buy a machine that fits your budget and needs, and we'll worry about possible problems if and when they occur. I would say that more often than not, the service pack slides in without problem. It is a good idea to stay away from problematic systems, but none have been identified at this point. Buy a machine that fits your budget and needs, and we'll worry about possible problems if and when they occur. Just thought maybe, if certain brands were like the problem computer's to stay away from sure would be helpful. - Original Message - From: "inthane" To: Sent: Wednesday, September 28, 2011 2:28 AM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] which email client with windows7 I also have the restart instructions and files for windows mail on my grab bag website (address/link under my name) but be warned some who have installed it have had troubles with major updates like sp1 for windows 7 afterwards (not proved to be because of the windows mail re-invocation but it is suspected) and no windows mail is the mail client provided with windows vista, not windows live mail, that is an entirely different product. also if they haven't been mentioned thunderbird and Eudora (the last supported version) work in windows 7 as well elf . It looks like Outlook Express for the most part, and works with Jaws just fine. Although it isn't set as the default e-mail client in Windows 7, it can be activated for use by following the instructions that David has posted on the Jaws-users website.
