Re: [JAWS-Users] Image for Windows Question
I moved all my data to a second internal hard drive as I read about in the archives; and have only the OS and programs on the C drive. I only have regular DVD-R disks on hand, but am hoping that a disk will hold that much. Have never done anything with DVDs beyond playing them, so am on new ground here- and hoping to avoid earthquakes :) Thanks, Cher -Original Message- From: jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of David Ferrin Sent: Wednesday, April 06, 2011 10:23 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Image for Windows Question I haven't been able to reproduce it either, but then again it's not something I have worked at very much. Re: [JAWS-Users] Image for Windows Question
If it all doesn't fit on a single disk then the program will prompt you to insert another disk until it is finished. Then during the verification process you will need to insert what ever disk it wants to complete the process. Re: [JAWS-Users] Image for Windows Question
Hi Don, Would you consider creating a podcast for setting up Vinux with Image for Linux? This would be an incredibly valuable resource for so many of us. I would be willing to pay for such a podcast. Or, maybe it could be a Thank you gift for donating to the Vinux project. Re: [JAWS-Users] Image for Windows Question
I am not prepared to produce podcasts. I have an old detailed set of instructions on the Vinux Wicky for creating such a Vinux Rescue DVD. I need to update a link or two. I also will post detailed instructions to create a better, simpler Vinux Emergency installation on a 4 to 8 GB USB Flash drive. I like this better than the DVD because it has some persistent storage to save settings and personal files. I will work on this today and should be able to post the links here tomorrow. *Don Marang* Vinux Software Development Coordinator - vinuxproject.org http://www.vinuxproject.org/ There is just so much stuff in the world that, to me, is devoid of any real substance, value, and content that I just try to make sure that I am working on things that matter. -- Dean Kamen On 4/7/2011 10:50 AM, John M. wrote: Hi Don, Would you consider creating a podcast for setting up Vinux with Image for Linux?
