Hi Justin,
What is supposed to happen after I follow those steps? Does JAWS then know
that the cell I've applied that to is a title cell? If that is the case,
isn't that similar to setting the column title to a particular row In the
JAWS Options dialog box?

You must use the key sequence alt I n d.
Then, tab over to new and hit enter.
Type in the work Title. Remember to use a capital t.
Then, hit enter for okay. You can also tab to okay if you would like.
After that, tab over to close and hit enter.
