Re: [JAWS-Users] Jaws and vipre antivirus!
great, do keep us VIPRE users informed. the interface in 2015 isn't accessible in that the JAWS Cursor can be used. Making it possible for blind users to use the program is good, but accessibility involves more than that. it's important that blind users can do what sighted users can do, and full accessibility gives us blind users that competitiveness. I recall that I got an automatic upgrade reminder for VIPRE 2015 in mid June of last year, so yeah, it seems that possibly subscribers receive the new release before the September/October public announcement. I hope the 2016 release doesn't break screen reader (JAWS) accessibility. Re: [JAWS-Users] Jaws and Vipre!
Kevin and Wayne, This is correct. Press enter to select the Navigation Pane when the program opens, then tab down to select the type of scan that you would like to run. Press enter on the scan type, and the scan will begin. Following the completion of the scan, then go to the Manage Pane and press enter on this. Tab down from here to find the different ways to manage the findings of the scan. Your quarantine is located here, and you can configure how you would like threats to be handled here. Re: [JAWS-Users] Jaws and vipre antivirus 2014!
Hi Kevin, Here's another little tip I do with another folder I need to access in the All Users folder. With all folders system folders unhidden / showing: 1. Highlight the, All Users, jfolder but, don't open it, just highlight it. 2. Open the context menu with the application key or the, Shift + F10, keystroke. 3. Navigate to the, Send To submenu, press enter or right arrow to open. If you press the letter, N, after opening the context menu it will put you into the Send To submenu. 4. Arrow down to, Desktop Create Shortcut, press enter. This will put a shortcut for the All Users folder on your desktop. 5. After you hide all your folders system folders, you can copy the desktop All Users shortcut paste it into your Users folder in the root of the C drive. If you don't want the All Users shortcut on the desktop, cut it instad of copying it paste it in the Users folder, startmenu or, pin it to the taskbar. The point being, with this shortcut you can now always access the All Users folder without going through the hassle of unhiding all the folders system folders. Note: When you create the shorcut it reads, All Users - shortcut, you can rename it by highlighting the shortcut, press the, F2 key, rename the shortcut, press enter to save the changed name. Personally, I always delete the spaces, the dash, the word shortcut off the end press enter. HTH Take care.
