Re: [JAWS-Users] OCR Voice, How to change It was, Punctuation & Jaws hotkey

2011-11-23 Thread Lennie

Hi Mike,

Wow! I am keeping you busy today. Thanks for the information to
change the OCR voice.

However, after I made the changes and ran the convenient OCR, the
voice that I came up with was not the voice that I modified, but it
was my Jaws cursor voice and I was reading the document like any
other time that I use the Jaws curser.

Is there something that I am missing? Take care and I hope that you
enjoy your turkey tomorrow!

Hi Geovanni & List Members,

I have found that instead of pressing the, F6 key, on Customize Voice
Aliases..., that pressing the spacebar opens the Voice Aliases page, and
then, just press the, letter O, to get to the OCR option. Now, tab to
modify, & press the spacebar to open, & tab through the dialogue boxes to
make your changes. Take care.

That is inaccurate. You just need to go to the voice settings via the Jaws
window and select whichever voice you have loaded on your PC as the jaws cursor
voice and there u have it.

Hi All,

Is it possible to change the voice for the OCR jaws cursor voice? If yes,
