Hi Lori,
Pressing the F6 key will show the address bar.
Pressing it again, will place you back into the previous view.
You didn't say where you were trying to read it, but this is true of both,
internet, and Windows Explorer.
In Windows Explorer, you will need to make sure that the address bar is
checked in the view menu, under the toolbars sub-menu.
If it is not, once you have selected it, simply press enter.

Hello:

Thank you. I am using it on the internet with both IE and FF. It takes
me

there, but then the only thing I can do is enter on it to get rid of it.

And extra thanks on the info for Windows Explorer as I had looked in the
web browsers and didn't see it, but that's because it is for Windows
Explorer. Thanks for the reminder.

Hi Lori,
Pressing the F6 key will show the address bar.
Pressing it again, will place you back into the previous view.
You didn't say where you were trying to read it, but this is true of
both,
internet, and Windows Explorer.
In Windows Explorer, you will need to make sure that the address bar is
checked in the view menu, under the toolbars sub-menu.
If it is not, once you have selected it, simply press enter.
