Re: [JAWS-Users] Temporary Account in Windows 8

2013-07-04 Thread tim
This is probably the bug Microsoft reported on and that is why 8.1 is
coming soon and is free for those that have win8. I didn't read the
shoe report.

Also when you do a restart everything does shut off
to clear ram and the op. If there are upgrades to preform. That
info is on a file and when restarted it is noted as first to run.

Does your system run on a ssd drive only, or is your operating

It seems to be a conflict between something that cannot startup soon
enough, to recognize tthe legal licence on your system.

By performing a restart, you dosn't shut everything down, and your'e
running afterward's.

Probably there is a problem with loading the driver for your
harddisk drive, so the automatic loaded task's for some startup
program's, have failed.

Only a suggestion.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Temporary Account in Windows 8

Hi Everyone,

Occasionally, just every couple months, when I boot up my Windows 8
computer, it will say that I am logged into a temporary account. My
personal settings are not there. For example, if I start Outlook, it will
act as though I have started it for the first time and haven't set it up. I
reboot the computer and everything is fine. Just curious, why does it do
that?

Thanks,

Scott Duck

Hi Scott,

a large number of Microsoft apps that run in the background, especially some
of the charms app require that you have a Microsoft account and are signed
in. This is not tied into your serial or installation key.

It's similar to an Apple I.D., and so to access some of these services, you
must be signed in.

If you press Windows key+C to access the charms bar, arrow to settings, or
PC Settings, I forget which term it is, and I think you can configure it
there.

I should also note that if you've got a MSN or Windows Messenger I.D., you
can use that particular credential.

Hope this helps.
