I find McAfee usable. It's a little clunky but doable.

Hi all,

I would like to find out which anti-virus program works best with JFW V. 16.
I am presently using Symantec on a Windows 7 64-bit Del. I believe my sticky
control key problem with JFW might be due to my use of Symantec so I want to
try a different anti-virus program to determine if the JFW problem can be
resolved. Thanks.

I will definitely let you guys know how I do with it. I'm also considering

problems with McAfee I still have one on it. Any recommendations as to
which one is the best? Especially in terms of accessibility.

Way back before 2004 or so it was very accessible, I used it from 1990 until

about 200 pages of printing. That was before Symantec took over the

I would like to find out which anti-virus program works best with JFW
 V. 16.
I am presently using Symantec on a Windows 7 64-bit Del. I believe my
 sticky
control key problem with JFW might be due to my use of Symantec so I
 want to
try a different anti-virus program to determine if the JFW problem can be
 resolved. Thanks.

 Cheers,

 Rob

Hi, I will be getting a new computer soon. Does anybody have any opinions or
experience regarding McAfee antivirus? I'm getting it with my computer. So
any help on how to use it or suggestions on just coming into remember that
would be great.

Vipre internet is good, if you get the version prior to the current.
I spoke to tech support and there is no difference as far as protection
goes between the older version and the newer version which isn't very
speech friendly.

Goodness, I said goodbye to Norton about ten years ago. It did get
harder. AVG was pretty good. I happen to have Avira right now. My son is
friends with an IBM engineer, says that is recommendable. So he put it
on mine. I can tell when it's working and what percent of files have
been done. JAWS says Loop File Walker around noon, when it's going. I
haven't had to check anything about the settings, because I haven't had
any problem. My husband is persnickity, watches my computer, used to use
it a lot before he got 8, but he has found no problem with it.

Hi,
Symantec , but you mean Norton antivirus.

Norton is not compatible with jaws.
I used it for a year one time and could not wait, until it expired.
