Sorry David, I only posted these keyboard shortcuts, for people who were uninstalling jaws 16 and reinstalling Jaws in windows 10, so they could have speech. Guessing here, but I'd think that parent and sibling refer to object hierarchy so that sibling is an object on the same level. Fir instance, if you were focused on a list object, each item of the list would be a sibling, whereas the list as a whole would be the parent. This is like the object model in NVDA and I believe VoiceOver for the mac.
