I was 52 and had no idea what i was doing. If you go into the jaws window and hit alt+h, arrow down and you'll find training and keystrokes with jaws. that's a good starting place. I think the thing that made me feel most comfortable, since i was afraid i'd break the monster, was knowing that i can go into help, or the control panel, or any program, play around all i want and, as long as i hit escape rather than accept, yes, or enter, i wouldn't change anything permanently. Hi Karen, When i first started with computers, a friend told me that there is nothing that you can type that will cause your computer to blow up. And, with Windows, there are usually several opportunities to undo anything that you do. Exactly! That's how you learn. You should try to get some training, but the best training is designed to get you started, and from there, you learn by trial and error, just like cooking, child raising, etc. Andy -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Karen Bailey Sent: Tuesday, September 16, 2008 12:20 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] new computer user I guess then, I should be brave and start experimenting more?
