WebIE can be used with any screen reader, I have a version of WebIE
installed that came from http://www.webbie.org, not the (excuse my language
here) crappy version that comes with thunder.

Hi, Karleen. I think you have to use webie with the thunder screen
 reader.
I used to use thunder but I thought it was kind of hard so I don't use it
 anymore.

Also, has anybody experimented with a browser from the UK called
Webbie? It's spacifically designed for the vision impaired. I'm
playing with it, but it doesn't seem to work any better than the other

You might want to try http://www.whitepages.com, or if a business is what
you're looking for, try http://www.yellowpages.com. It's also been known, if
you GOOGLE someone's Name or their Phone number, you can find them that way.
Just type the person's name or Phone number into the search box at
http://www.google.com.

Hope this Helps.

2008-01-13 Thread Marilyn Walker
Carlene, sometimes Google is the quickest way to get a phone number. Use
quotation marks around the name of the person, first name last name outside
the quotation marks write location and see what you get. It works for me.
