I'm curious as to what sort of items might be of interest to some of you out
there in the area of audio tutorials, programs, ETC. I'm considering doing one
on repairing a damaged DBX file in Outlook Express as this is fresh in my mind,
and It's been quite a while that I have done such a thing.

2008-01-04 Thread Lisa
Hello David,
I would be very interested in this audio tutorial. About a year ago I lost
everything in all of my outlook express folders, and I had no idea how to go
about fixing it. Many thanks to you for all you do on your web site!
Take care,
Lisa

That program is a specialty, but more over a friend of mine who goes by
start button is the expert in that area. Never the less I do appreciate the
quick reply. He normally does around a 8 or 10 part class on gold wave at
least once a year it seems. Like I said though if it is in my purview and
ability I will consider a tutorial on what might come across the list here.

Hello David,
How about an audio tutorial about how to set up, and use RSS feeds? I don't
really know much about them, but I would like to learn. How are they
different from pod cast's? Just a suggestion.
Take care,

That program is a specialty, but more over a friend of mine who goes by

That program is a specialty, but more over a friend of mine who goes by
start button is the expert in that area. Never the less I do appreciate the
quick reply. He normally does around a 8 or 10 part class on gold wave at
least once a year it seems. Like I said though if it is in my purview and
ability I will consider a tutorial on what might come across the list here.

Re: [JAWS-Users] possible updates to the web site

2008-01-04 Thread Rick Harmon
I have one on my website listed below if anyone is interested. It's in the
audio section of the website and under the Outlook Express heading. It's 6
parts now I think. One of the later parts deals with backing up and
restoring much of OE's info including the address book.

Re: [JAWS-Users] possible updates to the web site

2008-01-05 Thread Sharon
I just downloaded that program about hot keys hot key creator or something
like that but am having a hard time using pieces of it. I'll get correct
info later; on way to work.
More info on that would be helpful. Also more on fast file renamer but it
works pretty well as long as I keep the number of files to rename small.

I'm curious as to what sort of items might be of interest to some of you out
there in the area of audio tutorials, programs, ETC. I'm considering doing
one on repairing a damaged DBX file in Outlook Express as this is fresh in
my mind, and It's been quite a while that I have done such a thing.

Re: [JAWS-Users] possible updates to the web site

2008-01-05 Thread Rick Justice
Sound Forge is a sophisticated sound editing program.
It isn't cheap, and more program than the average user would need for simple
audio editing.
You can find a manual for both version 5 and 6 on the audio page at:
www.blind-computing.com
under the tips and tutorials heading.
This might give you some idea of the program's capability.

Lisa,

There is an excellent podcast presentation about using RSS feeds in Windows
Internet Explorer 7 on the Freedom Scientific website. It is podcast 12,
the podcast before the current one.

Hope this helps.

Re: [JAWS-Users] possible updates to the web site

2008-01-06 Thread Flor Lynch
I have no doubt that such a tutorial would and will be useful to some of us
and others to come, and we know neither the day nor the hour. Several years
ago, I lost everything in Outlook Express, and eventually managed to get it
nearly all back again. Still, it can be a challenging time and at such
moments one is interested in what has been done by others to solve the
problem.

Hello David,
I would be very interested in this audio tutorial. About a year ago I lost
everything in all of my outlook express folders, and I had no idea how to go
about fixing it. Many thanks to you for all you do on your web site!
Take care,
Lisa
