I would imagine that it only works with pop because the imap keeps the same
folder structure as the actual account such as with gmail.
The message rules button in WLM 11 is located in the folders tab in the one
labeled groups.
To put imap messages into folders you would need to set it up on the
original site such as gmail.

I do not use WLM 2011, I use 2012, and this is found on the Folders ribbon,
so you will have to look through your menus to find where the Message Rules
item is found. However, once you do find this, you would want to select
"Where the From line contains a specific account", and in the next item you
would select "Send to this specific folder", now, in the following edit
fields, you wouldtype in the email address for the JAWS Users List, then the
name of your folder. Next, give the rule a name. Now, click on apply and OK
to finish setting up your rule.

Re: [JAWS-Users] Windows Live Mail 2011 and attachments

2012-01-04 Thread Joni Colver
Cathie, someone on another list told me how to label the graphic for an
attachment so now JAWS does announce attachments for me. The latest build
of JAWS 13 also announces if a message is unread, although now that I
understand the graphics labeling routine, a person could label that if they
are not using the most recent version of JAWS.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] windows live mail 2011, will sometimes not open,or delete
messages.

I am running windows 7, jaws 12, latest update, and office 2007 on a 64 bit
machine. I am posting this here, because I'm not sure if my problem is a
jaws issue, or a Microsoft one.

Sometimes, in Windows live mail, 2011, I get a message that says, an unknown
error has occurred. Windows live mail cannot open this message, please try
again. So I do, and most of the time, it works the second time, but
sometimes, that message just won't open at all. That is annoying, because
what if it were important?

Secondly, sometimes a message just won't delete. I know that shift delete
will delete it, but you should be able to just hit delete to get rid of it.
Is there a way to fix either, or both of these problems?

Jim

Is it me or doesn't Jaws 11 and the beta 12 work well with Windows Live
Mail? It appears Jaws just can't focus on the edit field.

Well it is installed and required a quick learning session. It is my
first introduction to virtual ribbons. They really are not difficult but
I do not think as easy as the tool bar. It will be a while before I
master them but can get around ok.

I am using the package with jaws 12 on a win 7 32 bit machine.

How does one get that update? Is it on the update page of Windows update. It
is easier to ask than to check, for at present I am on the desktop with XP
and O E.

of windows live mail. Some problems have been corrected with the new
windows live mail
