Yes, you can just give it time and it normally sorts itself out otherwise there
is a folder that you can delete to force it to run again.

Has any one on the list ever experienced windows updates getting stuck when
checking for updates?
and if so what did you do to get it unstuck.
I am using windows 8.1 and jaws 15
