[JBoss-dev] [JBoss JIRA] Resolved: (JBCACHE-24) LockInterceptor needs to lock child nodes recursively on remove(Fqn)
[ http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBCACHE-24?page=history ] Bela Ban resolved JBCACHE-24: - Resolution: Done LockInterceptor needs to lock child nodes recursively on remove(Fqn) Key: JBCACHE-24 URL: http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBCACHE-24 Project: JBoss Cache Type: Bug Versions: 1.2 Reporter: Bela Ban Assignee: Bela Ban Fix For: 1.2.1 Original Estimate: 1 day Remaining: 1 day When calling remove(/a/b/c), and the cache has /a/b/c/d, /a/b/c/e, /a/b/c/f, then LockInterceptor acquires a RL for /a and /a/b, a WL for /a/b/c, but *no* locks for /a/b/c/d, /a/b/c/e and /a/b/c/f. So nodes d,e and f are unlocked. SOLUTION: we need to lock all children of the node to be removed with *WLs* recursively. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://jira.jboss.com/jira/secure/Administrators.jspa - If you want more information on JIRA, or have a bug to report see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira --- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
