A clean checkout of jboss-head is now building and running for me on  
MacOS X and Java 1.4.1.

I committed the patch to  xdoclet and committed a new version of xdoclet to
jboss thirdparty.  Haven't ruined my mac xx tried updating my jdk yet
so jboss continues to build fine for me :-))

You want to reinstall DP10?

You should be able to by removing the receipt in /Library/Receipts and
hosing the 1.4.1 directory in /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/

Do at your own risk though, I haven't tested this.
