Hi, Have a look at JMS api doc, the Connection has a method setExceptionListener(). I think you need to implement the ExceptionListener. It should be straightforward. This depends what messaging system you are talking about. "JBoss" has 3: JBoss MQ, JBoss Messaging and HornetQ. HornetQ certainly has auto reconnect functionality IIRC JBoss Messaging and JBoss MQ do not.
