btw the seam eclipse tools aren't terribly interesting at this point. I develope with eclipse wtp (just for the server controls, as I'm using a seam-gen project structure), and haven't found anything of particular seam value in the other plugins. I'm definitely looking forward to the seam-enhanced JBoss/exadel plugins though, targeted for this summer. The next released Seam will be 1.3 (4.2 is just a glint in our eyes for now). CVS and 1.3 target JBoss AS 4.2 series. Not sure what your first question is about seam-ide. I'm not aware of any such thing at this point, though there will be later this summer. CVS is working fine. I followed the instructions at http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=SeamRepository, with username/password anonymous and default port (which is 2401). I just did a sync, so not sure what the problem is. You might try telnet anoncvs.forge.jboss.com 2401 and see if you can establish a connection, which would rule out firewall issues for certain.
