Hallo Pete, thank u a lot, i tested the suggested solution and for the first time the server started up and i could view the portal page off a client. [JBoss-user] [Installation & Configuration] - JBOSS+Portal=Failure?Please Help!!!
Hi i installed JBOSS 4.0.0 and Portal 2.0 BETA on a suse Linux 9.0 machine with mysql 4.0.22 and jdbc 3.0.16. I could start the jboss as but when i integrated the portal i got the following error-message: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/jboss/cache/TransactionManagerLookup at net.sf.hibernate.cache.TreeCacheProvider.buildCache(TreeCacheProvider.java:14) at net.sf.hibernate.cfg.Configuration.configureCaches(Configuration.java:1107) at net.sf.hibernate.cfg.Configuration.buildSessionFactory(Configuration.java:767) at org.jboss.hibernate.jmx.Hibernate.buildSessionFactory(Hibernate.java:476) at org.jboss.hibernate.jmx.Hibernate.startService(Hibernate.java:444) at org.jboss.system.ServiceMBeanSupport.jbossInternalStart(ServiceMBeanSupport.java:271) at org.jboss.system.ServiceMBeanSupport.jbossInternalLifecycle(ServiceMBeanSupport.java:221) at sun.reflect.GeneratedMethodAccessor2.invoke(Unknown Source) ... can anybody help me, it is really important and i have no idea what could be wrong!!
