[JBoss-user] [Beginners Corner] - File upload location

2005-05-24 Thread JustinAshworth
Where is a good, secure place to store user-uploaded files in JBoss? I don't
want to do it inside my EAR file because the files should remain even after
replacing the EAR file.

Thanks,

Justin

[JBoss-user] [Installation Configuration] - Re: Jboss AP 4.0.0 upgarde to 4.0.2

2005-05-21 Thread JustinAshworth
I was having this same problem but I just figured it out. Although a .har
directory is supposed to work, I had to jar mine up into a .har file for it to
be recognized.

Hope that helps...

Justin

[JBoss-user] [HTTPD, Servlets JSP] - Image upload

2005-05-01 Thread JustinAshworth
Hi,

I have written code to handle an image upload from a Multipart form and write
it to the filesystem. However, my next step is to display that image in the
web browser and I'm wondering if there is any way I can store web-accessible
resources outside of an EAR/WAR file. I need to store the images in a place
where they won't be overwritten if I redeploy a new version of the application.
Is there a configuration setting that would allow me to access image files on
the filesystem from a JSP?

Thanks,

Justin
