[JBoss-user] [JBoss jBPM] - Re: jBPM on Weblogic 9
I was attempting to run the web archive, .war, (from jbpm-server\server\jbpm\deploy) in weblogic 9. I took the jbpm.war provided in the deploy directory and attempted to deploy on Weblogic 9. I took all of the .jar files from jbpm-server\lib and placed in the corresponding lib directory in Weblogic. I thought I made the correct modifications to the .xml files for the build. Maybe (pksiv: Sorry do not know your name) can send me some direction there. What files do you need to modify? I really want to use jBPM, our organization is Weblogic, but I support jBPM. Anyways always appreciate the responses and active JBoss community. My organization is also interested in professional service support. Any guidance is appreciated. Also what do you feel is the value of the jBPM training course? They are interested in sending me there. [JBoss-user] [JBoss jBPM] - jBPM on Weblogic 9
I am attempting to deploy the jbpm.war on Weblogic. Does anyone have insights? Has anyone been able to run jBPM on Weblogic? Any assistance is appreciated. Especially what .xml or configuration files to work on. Most importantly what do I need to change to migrate to another J2EE app server. [JBoss-user] [JBoss jBPM] - Re: Eclipse GPD 3.0.5 NullPointerException on opening Proces
Heads up... I had to install 3.1.1 Eclipse...3.1.0 kept crashing when I wanted to open any .par that had the gpd.xml. Best bet use 3.1.1..no issues post installation.. [JBoss-user] [JBoss jBPM] - Authentication MS Active Directory How?
I am interested in learning how to use MS Active Directory with jBPM3? I would like to authenticate and assign users to a swimlane at run-time? Can I? I can see in your processdefinition.xml (websale) the example is using swimlanes and assigning users to the swimlane in the xml. Swinlanes accountant, shipper, etc...If I establish swimlanes can I use MS Active Directory to assign users to that swimlane. I am required to use MS Active Directory as my resource for authentication of users for this project. Example: If a user logs in with MS Active Directory how do I tie them to a swimlane? What is the best approach. Fine-grained authorization provided ? every actor/group can have set of permissions on environment entities (process definitions, instances, actors/groups) using MS Active Directory? Thanks for the insight View the original post : http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&p=3913451#3913451 Reply to the post : http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=posting&mode=reply&p=3913451 --- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc. [JBoss-user] [JBoss jBPM] - Re: Issue deploying .par file
So make the changes to hsqldb-ds.xml. I will have this project on the intranet (inside firewall-no punching through)and I will go through and make the necessary port changes and secure the app-db server. Thanks for such a quick response. Very much appreciated. Do I then uncomment "using tcp connections" these sections and then comment "in process persistent db" these sections or can I have both uncommented? Thanks again Speedy Tom..and crew... [JBoss-user] [JBoss jBPM] - Issue deploying .par file
Hello, I am using the build.deploy.xml. I am trying to use the ant task to deploy a process. The websale.par included in the starters kit. I have verified the start.jboss and other ant tasks and I have also verified the build.xml. When I get to deploy.processes I receive this error. I am running the starters kit and have not modified any of the configurations. I have websale.par working fine with localhost. Everything is working great. I just cannot seem to deploy a process using ant. I would like to learn how so I can create my own processes. Am I missing something on my classpath? I have set jboss.home and my basedir. Also, very clever C3PO.. Thanks again for the great support. [JBoss-user] [JBoss jBPM] - Re: WebSale Example: When does the INSERT INTO JBPM_(tableNa
Thanks Very Much Koen, That was very nice guidance. Thank you very much for taking your time and providing me with the information. So Hibernate handles the task of mapping classes to tables, and objects to actual rows. Hibernate generates SQL for you (cool), relieves you from manual result set handling and object conversion and keeps your application portable to all SQL databases. Go hibernate.. [JBoss-user] [JBoss jBPM] - WebSale Example: When does the INSERT INTO JBPM_(tableName)
I have the starter kit running "as is" with default config using the Hypsersonic java DB. Studying the implementation. I know Hibernate is the persistent layer. I can see in my \JBPM\jbpm-server\jbpm\data\hypersonic\loadDBscript my insert statements after running throught the web app from start state to end state. Example: INSERT INTO JBPM_VARIABLEINSTANCE VALUES() These are the insert statements that are generated after cookie monster, or ernie, or bert "Save and Close Task" Task Name "create new web sale order". I can understand the flow, lets say, from the processdefinition but I can not figure out how the Task Name "create new web sale order" knows to "INSERT INTO JBPM_VARIABLEINSTANCE". I can not find a class, a script, a nothing? How does Task Name "create new web sale order" know to insert into JBPM_VARIABLEINSTANCE? Maybe because I am new to Hibernate but when does the actual "insert statement" get implemented and where is that statement if I wanted to insert additional values into the table. Thanks for the guidance.
