Hi,
you can set it in the run.bat file. Or in the bat-file from your application.

Hope this helps :-)

2005-03-23 Thread dschneller
Hi all,
I have problems in sending mails from my java-application.

I receive the mail, but without any message inside. Only the subject is set and
the messagebody is blank.

In WebSphere is everything good, but not on JBoss. Must I install anything on
the JBoss?

Thanks for help :-)

Hi,
can I use following scenario:

One JBoss-Applicationserver on a MS Windows with 2 Clustermembers. One Cluster
runs on the MS Windows maschine, the other cluster on a Solaris maschine. Could
this run?

With this scenario I would like to prevent any failover.

Hi all,
is following possible? Or is there any problems?
1. Clustering on OS Solaris
2. Clustering on Microsoft Windows?
3. Clustering on different operating systems? I.e. one Cluster-Member on a
Solaris machine and the other Cluster-Member on a MS Windows?

Any experiences?

Thanx :-)

[JBoss-user] [Installation Configuration] - Is the JBoss installation complete?

2004-11-16 Thread dschneller
Hi all,
I have pair of beginner questions.

1. I've downloaded the JBoss 3.2.5 version. But it appears to me incompletely.

e.g. jboss-jee.jar and some other files also. Do I have to download the full
version from Sun?

I try to migrate my WebShere App to JBoss and encounters errors and problems.

Thanks for help

[JBoss-user] [Clustering/JBoss] - Start all nodes? And other questions

2004-08-11 Thread dschneller
Hi,
I want to run my Java-App in a JBoss-Clustered-Enviroment. And have many questions.

1. My workers2.properties for mod_jk2 is created
2. LoadModule jk2_module modules/mod_jk2.so is added to httpd.conf from Apache
3. true is added to jboss.xml
4. My EAR I've copied in to the farm folder

Must I do anything else?

Now I start JBoss with run -c all --host myHostName

It startes without problems. But must I start the other nodes too, or is this enough?

In my workers2.properties I have 2 Channels server1 and server2. Are these my 2
Cluster-Nodes? Must I start those seperatly? If I do that with run -c all --host
server1 I get an java.net.UnknownHostException: server1: server1

What must I do now, if I want to run my App?

Who can help please?

Thanks dschneller.
