Are you a windows user? try instead of using localhost, inserting 127.0.0.1
 localhost in linux means 127.0.0.1 on IPv4, the local machine, but i think it doesnt 
work on windows.

 Is there any way i can assert that jboss was succesfully started? Is there any jmx 
that i can invoke a method to assert that? is there a way to assert that an 
application was deployed through jmx? I need to know if the jboss is working well from 
a hemote machine. Can anyone helpe-me?
