[JBoss-user] [Beginners Corner] - Re: HELP: Installed JBoss, started it up, but can't hit ser
Thanks very much, everybody! I thought I would try the simplest solution first, which was kpraveena's, so I restarted the server and tried using my machine name instead. And now I can see the jboss page! whoo-hoo!! http://machine-name:8080/ Thank you one and all. No doubt I shall be asking more lame questions soon... [JBoss-user] [Beginners Corner] - HELP: Installed JBoss, started it up, but can't hit server
Hello, I am a complete newb with JBoss (and come to think of it, most things). Have installed it (on an NT machine currently) and used 'run' from the command line to start it up. It gets to this point and stops: 11:16:30,806 INFO [JkMain] Jk running ID=0 time=0/47 config=null I read somewhere that this means it's started ok. However neither of the following urls (gathered from various tutorials) work: http://localhost:8080/jmx-console/ http://localhost http://localhost:8080 http://localhost:8082 What am I doing wrong? Many thanks in advance View the original post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bbop=viewtopicp=3846791#3846791 Reply to the post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bbop=postingmode=replyp=3846791 --- This SF.Net email is sponsored by BEA Weblogic Workshop FREE Java Enterprise J2EE developer tools!
