[JBoss-user] [Messaging, JMS & JBossMQ] - Performance on JbossMQ
Hi, I have tested both JbossMQ with Jboss and jbossmq minimal configuration with Jboss. But JbossMQ with jboss has a better performances than jbossmq minimal configuration with Jboss. Perfomance is as follows: (I'm testing MMS messages) JbossMQ with Jboss - 39 MMS messages/second jbossmq minimal configuration with Jboss - 30 MMS messages/second So , do u know why such thing happen? Is there any way to improve the performance of the Jboss server? Thank you. Thilina. Hi, Thanks a lot for your help. Now I again moved into jboss server with minimal configuration of Jbossmq. I run the ant build and created a jbossmq minimal configuration. But how can I add JMX services to create queues at run time? Thanx Thilina. [JBoss-user] [Messaging, JMS & JBossMQ] - Creating queues in jbossmq-1.0.0Beta
Hi, I have work with Jboss and there queue server. Now I'm developing an application which uses a queue server. But we can't use Jboss Application server only as a queue server, because our main application is run on a another different application server. If I use Jboss as for a queue server then it will become an overhead. Therefore I have downloaded jbossmq-1.0.0Beta. Using bossmq-1.0.0Beta I can send and receive messages from the queue, but I also need to create queues programatically. For the Jboss thing I use following sample code for create queues programaticallty at run time. http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/msg34635.html But it uses Mbean server to create queues at run time which comes with Jboss. But with bossmq-1.0.0Beta there is no Mbean server. Then how can I create queues programaticallly at run time? Can anybody send me any reference site for me? Or any suggestion for this. Thanks in advanced for any help Thilina View the original post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&p=3847788#3847788 Reply to the post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=posting&mode=reply&p=3847788 --- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: YOU BE THE JUDGE. [JBoss-user] [Installation & Configuration] - Jboss and Tomcat on same machine
Hi, I want to run Tomcat and Jboss on same machine. While running these 2 servers i encountered a problem. I think the problem arises because, both Tomcat and Jboss use same 8080 port. First I run the Jboss and then started the tomcat. At this stage Jboss gives following error. 12:37:56,392 INFO [Engine] StandardHost[localhost]: MAPPING configuration error Is there any configuration file in Jboss to change this port numbers or any other way to solve my problem? If so what are they and what entries need to be made? [JBoss-user] [Messaging, JMS & JBossMQ] - persistance messages are deleted after restarting jboss
Hi, I'm writing an application which needs persistance for messages in a queue. I use both file and Rollinglogged persistance managers to acieve this. Both methods works fine and store the messages in a given directory when the jboss server shutdown. But when a jboss starts and if I send a new message to a queue, then the stored messages in the persistance directory are dissapears. They are also not received by the receiver. 1) Where are these messages gone? (I use permant "queue/testQueue" to store messages) 2) If the message is persistance, then are we needs to write a program to send it to the receiver OR the queue server handle the sending of meessages to receiver? (In the case of Jboss shutdown abd restarting) 3) Durable subscriptions are posible for Topics. Is durable subscriptions support for queues? If so how can it handle? 4) Temporary queues can't handle persistance. So If I needs to create queues at run time, then how can I achiieve the persistance? Thnaks in advanced for any help, Thilina. [JBoss-user] [Messaging, JMS & JBossMQ] - Creating a permanant queue

[JBoss-user] [Messaging, JMS & JBossMQ] - Creating queues at run time (within the java program)
Hi, I'm writing a JMS application which needs to create queues at run time. This mean I have wrote a program to get a name of the queue as a input from the user. Because My application needs to deal with lot of queues and need to create these at run time. But to create a queue in JbossMQ we need to put an entry in the JBOSS_HOME\server\default\deploy\jms\jbossmq-destinations-service.xml as follows. jboss.mq:service=DestinationManager Also I'm deploying jar in Jboss, therefore i have to enter a entry in jboss.xml as follows - - - MessageBean Standard Message Driven Bean queue/thilina So.. creating queues dynamically is a dificult task in this case. So any other way to achieve this task like createQueue() or createTemporaryQueue() kind of methods exixts ? Then how can I achieve this task?
