[JBoss-user] [JBossWS] - Re: Is JBossWS on JBoss 4.0 compatible with Java 5
It turns out that the jaxrpc-mapping.xml file generated by wscompile when run with JDK 1.5 is slightly different from the one generated when run with JDK1.4.2. The mapping file generated by the newer JDK is causing the deployment failure (javax.xml.rpc.JAXRPCException: Cannot unmarshal jaxrpc-mapping-file) - Mohammad View the original post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&p=3866616#3866616 Reply to the post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=posting&mode=reply&p=3866616 --- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users. Thanks for looking into it. I have reported a buf in JIRA as suggested (JBWS-119). [JBoss-user] [JBossWS] - Is JBossWS on JBoss 4.0 compatible with Java 5
I have a JBossWS web service that deploys correctly when compiled with Java 1.4.x, but fails to deploy when compiled with Java 5. In both cases JBoss is running under jdk 5.0 JVM. It appears that Axis deployer throws some kind of unmarshalling exception. anonymous wrote : Caused by: javax.xml.rpc.JAXRPCException: Cannot unmarshal jaxrpc-mapping-file: | META-INF/spdhProtocolService-mapping.xml | at org.jboss.webservice.metadata.WebserviceDescriptionMetaData.getJavaWs | dlMapping(WebserviceDescriptionMetaData.java:178) | at org.jboss.webservice.AxisService.generateDeploymentWSDD(AxisService.j | ava:367) | at org.jboss.webservice.AxisService.deployService(AxisService.java:242) | at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke0(Native Method) | at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(NativeMethodAccessorImpl. | java:39) | at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(DelegatingMethodAcces | sorImpl.java:25) | at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Method.java:585) | at org.jboss.mx.interceptor.ReflectedDispatcher.invoke(ReflectedDispatch | er.java:141) | ... 38 more | Caused by: org.xml.sax.SAXException: cvc-complex-type.3.2.2: Attribute 'ns0:vers | ion' is not allowed to appear in element 'java-wsdl-mapping'. @ *unknown*[2,295] | | at org.jboss.xml.binding.Unmarshaller$MetaDataErrorHandler.error(Unmarsh | aller.java:170) | at org.apache.xerces.util.ErrorHandlerWrapper.error(Unknown Source) | at org.apache.xerces.impl.XMLErrorReporter.reportError(Unknown Source) | at org.apache.xerces.impl.XMLErrorReporter.reportError(Unknown Source) | at org.apache.xerces.impl.xs.XMLSchemaValidator$XSIErrorReporter.reportE | rror(Unknown Source) | at org.apache.xerces.impl.xs.XMLSchemaValidator.reportSchemaError(Unknow | n Source) | at org.apache.xerces.impl.xs.XMLSchemaValidator.processAttributes(Unknow | n Source) | at org.apache.xerces.impl.xs.XMLSchemaValidator.handleStartElement(Unkno | wn Source) | at org.apache.xerces.impl.xs.XMLSchemaValidator.startElement(Unknown Sou | rce) | at org.apache.xerces.impl.XMLNSDocumentScannerImpl.scanStartElement(Unkn | own Source) | at org.apache.xerces.impl.XMLNSDocumentScannerImpl$NSContentDispatcher.s | canRootElementHook(Unknown Source) | Is this a known issue ? - Mohammad View the original post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&p=3866095#3866095 Reply to the post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=posting&mode=reply&p=3866095 --- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users. [JBoss-user] [JBossWS] - Re: wrapped document/literal
Working with JBoss 4.0.0 I can confirm that you can do rpc/encoded, rpc/literal and document/literal with JBossWS. Windows .NET however, does not support rpc/literal. So, you will encounter problem interoperating JBossWS rpc/literal web service with .NET clients. Hope this helps. - Mohammad View the original post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&p=3861788#3861788 Reply to the post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=posting&mode=reply&p=3861788 --- The SF.Net email is sponsored by: Beat the post-holiday blues Get a FREE limited edition SourceForge.net t-shirt from ThinkGeek. [JBoss-user] [JBossWS] - document literal style and ws method with no parameter
It appears that web services methods that take no parameters as the one below public String getVersion(); | is incompatible with document literal style at least in JBossWS. The web service appear to be successfully deployed, but when I try to find the list of deployed web services at http://localhost:8080/ws4ee/services I get the following exception, anonymous wrote : Exception - org.apache.axis.InternalException: java.lang.Exception: The OperationDesc for getVersion was not synchronized to a method of com.retail_logic.ws.interfaces.HelloService. | Is there a way to correctly deploy web service (that conforms to the document literal sytle) that contain methods with no paramter? [JBoss-user] [Beginners Corner] - Read application specific config file
My application (deployed in JBoss 4.0) requires some application specific definition files that I ideally want to be placed inside the jar file along with my EJBs and other classes. These are XML files and read only once (and then cached internally) using org.jdom.input.SAXBuilder.build() method. The files are speicified in the standard URL format (file:). My application can only read these files if they are placed in $JBOSS_HOME/bin directory. Is there a way to place these files in the jar file and have them read off it? Thanks. - Mohammad Rahin View the original post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&p=3858876#3858876 Reply to the post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=posting&mode=reply&p=3858876 --- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
