[JBoss-user] [JBossCache] - Re: Cache Loader Impl Probs

2006-06-25 Thread myself_biswajit
Hi all,

Actually there was some mistake from my side.
Because there was some jar version missmatch that's why i thought bug id 608 is
not resolved.

But now i avoided that jar version missmatch and i am not getting
{jboss:internal:uninitialized=null}

So, now JBossCache-1.4.0CR1 is working great.

Thanks.
Biswajit.

[JBoss-user] [JBossCache] - Cache Loader Impl Probs

2006-06-20 Thread myself_biswajit
Hi all,

Please refer

http://jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=82088
and now i am again reopening this issue in a new topic.

Now i migrated from JBossCache-1.3.0.SP1 to JBossCache-1.4.0.CR1.

In the current release the bug(
* [ JBCACHE-608 ] Cache loader does not load data for cache.get(Fqn fqn) calls)
is fixed,i got this information from Changelog.txt

But again i m getting the earlier error which is
jboss:internal:uninitialized=null

13:00:10,973 INFO [STDOUT] Mon Jun 19 13:00:10 IST 2006 [DEBUG]

13:00:10,973 INFO [STDOUT] For the 1st

Again in my treecache-service.xml i have placed TransactionManagerLookupClass
as the JBossTransactionManagerLookup

org.jboss.cache.JBossTransactionManagerLookup

It was working fine with JBossCache-1.3.0.SP1 but with JBossCache-1.4.0.CR1 i
am getting following error.

2006-06-20 Thread myself_biswajit
Hi all,

Do i need to put some extra settings for JBossCache-1.4.0.CR1?

My Caching Framework was working fine with JBossCache-1.3.0SP1 and i was
passing a dummykey.

Now with the current release JBOSSCACHE-608 bug id is fixed.
So i just removed the dummy key.
But i m getting {jboss:internal:uninitialized=null}.

Again with latest release i m getting some exception with transaction which i
have sent in my previous mail.

Could anyone look into my previous mail and suggest me a solution for this?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Biswajit.

[JBoss-user] [JBossCache] - Cache in Cluster-envionement with In memory Cache Loader

2006-03-20 Thread myself_biswajit
Hi All,

Thanks for your support. and Here i have a doubt regarding Cache in Clusterd
Enviornment.
The Case Study i am using as follows :
i am using In Memory Cache Loader and i have 2 boxes which works in clusterd
envionement.
and every things works fine but i got some doubts.
When i hit first time in 1st box it takes data from database and puts into
box1's memory and when i stops 1st box and go to url of Box2 it again goes same
step as ist box it takes from database and put into memory and gives data. So
here my doubt is why it is starting from scratch why not from direct memory in
2nd box . can anybody please clerify me.

Note : clustering works fine , do i have to do some other stuff for caching in
term of In Memory Cache Loader.

Thanks in Advance,
Biswajit

Again sorry to distrub you.

(1)public void put(Fqn fqn,
java.util.Map data)
 throws CacheException

(2)public java.lang.Object put(java.lang.String fqn,
java.lang.Object key,
java.lang.Object value)
 throws CacheException

the above two methods are same or not?
i think they are same.
in the 1st case internally we setting the key and value to instance of map and
passing map as parameter.
in the 2nd case we are directly passing the key and value as parameter.

just reply me and make my doubt clear.
thanks in advance.

Biswajit...

Hi Brian,

Just find the two methods

(1)public java.lang.Object get(java.lang.String fqn,
java.lang.Object key)
 throws CacheException

(2)public java.lang.Object get(Fqn fqn,
java.lang.Object key)
 throws CacheException

I think in both the two case i will get same output.
However if you think different output will come then pliz tell me the
difference between String fqn and Fqn fqn.

Thanks in advance.

[JBoss-user] [JBossCache] - I just need a single cache but it is creating 2 cache for me

2006-03-15 Thread myself_biswajit
Hi,

I have confighired caching in clustering environment.Right now i am using two
nodes for clustering.Suppose now my application is coming from 1st node, and i
have data in my cache.Suppose after few times interruption occur in 1st node.At
that time my application is coming from 2nd node, but not from the cache. At that
time my cache is null (for the 1st time).2nd time onwards i am getting data
from the cache for the same query. In the console i am getting the below
mentioned message(1st time):-

17:26:03,653 INFO [TreeCache] state could not be retrieved (must be first
member in group)
17:26:03,669 INFO [TreeCache] new cache is null (maybe first member in cluster)
17:26:03,669 INFO [TreeCache] viewAccepted(): new members:
[192.168.150.237:2478]

>From the above message it is clear that it is creating 2 different cache for
>me but i just need a single cache.

I guess there is something wrong with my treecache-service.xml file.Right now
my ClusterConfig part is like this,

Pliz provide me a solution for this.
Thanks in advance.
