Overactive Logistics is a freight forwarding open source software solution being developed for the cargo transportation industry entirely on J2EE.
Since its inception it has been built on top of JBoss application server and the experience has been nothing but great. In the past month we came up with some technical challenges with EJBs, at the time we were using EJB 2.1. After some analysis we got to the conclusion that EJB 3.0 will effectively eliminate our technical problems and we were lucky enough to decide this around the same time when JBoss released its EJB 3.0 implementation. Porting our application to EJB 3.0 was extremely smooth and without any big show stoppers, honeslty I felt a little bit nervous since it was the first JBoss implementation of the latest EJB spec, however the JBoss team did a great job! Last monday we released our application completely ported to EJB 3.0 and it would not have been possible without JBoss otherwise we would had to put our project on hold waiting for a good EJB 3.0 implementation. http://sourceforge.net/projects/overactive http://overactive-logistics.blogspot.com View the original post : http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&p=3919355#3919355 Reply to the post : http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=posting&mode=reply&p=3919355 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
