[JBoss-user] [Messaging, JMS & JBossMQ] - Dynamically add persistent JMS destinations in clustered env
Hi, I have setup the clustered JMS on 2 nodes. I need to add persitent queues dynamically in jbossmq-destinations-service.xml without restarting the JBoss instance. I.E. as soon as I add the queue in jbossmq-destinations-service.xml the jboss should detect it automaticlly without restart(HOT DEPLOYMENT) My jbossmq-destinations-service.xml is in ..\deploy-hasingleton\jms folder. I tried it but JBoss is not adding the queue without restart. Iit detects if I keep the jbossmq-destinations-service.xml in deploy folder but I cant do that as on Secondary node(which is not Master) it gives error on restart. So My Q is, Is it possible to add a persitent queue in Clustered JMS environment on all nodes? If it is possible how to do that? [JBoss-user] [Messaging, JMS & JBossMQ] - Re: JBoss 4.0 JMS Cluster Support
Thanks Kiran, I able to setup the cluster JMS for fail over. Now I have question regarding the load balanacing, which you also had earlier :) How this load balancing is working..? What basically the cdot.jboss.JBossMQProvider class does..? There is a comment "You should use hajndi-jms-ds.xml not the jms provider in this example. TODO: update this example" on wiki http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=LoadBalancedFaultTolerantMDBs So, what changes we required to use hajndi-jms-ds.xml..? And the last question, this example was written in April 2004 for JBoss 3.2.4RC2. I am using JBoss version 4.0.2, so is this load balancing is not incorporated in newer version of JBoss (e.g JBoss 4.0.2 or 4.0.3)..? The JBoss guys might have answer for this whether this is included in new version of JBoss or not. what if I do not use JBossMQProvider , will all message will be processed by a single MDB..? Thanks, Looking forward for yuor response. -Umesh View the original post : http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&p=3901180#3901180 Reply to the post : http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=posting&mode=reply&p=3901180 --- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: Power Architecture Resource Center: Free content, downloads, discussions, and more. http://solutions.newsforge.com/ibmarch.tmpl ___ JBoss-user mailing list JBoss-user@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/jboss-user

Hi Kiran, Thanks for replying. I have few questions regarding using JMS clustering. How to access a Queue ConnectionFactory using HA JNDI? in jndi.properties we specify the ip:port of HA-JNDI, So if we add a node in cluster how we will specify the IP of that if that become the Master node..? Sorry if these are silly questions but I am ont sure how to do that. Hi, I want to deploy my war and ejb jar in a ear file with class loading isolation. It works fine if I do not specify class loading isolation in my jboss-app.xml. But If I specify classloading isolation it throws below exception. And I have onMessage method in my mdb. anonymous wrote : | 2005-07-20 17:36:25,140 WARN [org.jboss.ejb.EJBDeployer.verifier] EJB spec violation: | Bean : MyMDB | Section: 15.7.4 | Warning: The message driven bean must declare one onMessage() method. | | 2005-07-20 17:36:25,140 DEBUG [org.jboss.util.NestedThrowable] org.jboss.util.NestedThrowable.parentTraceEnabled=true | 2005-07-20 17:36:25,140 DEBUG [org.jboss.util.NestedThrowable] org.jboss.util.NestedThrowable.nestedTraceEnabled=false | 2005-07-20 17:36:25,140 DEBUG [org.jboss.util.NestedThrowable] org.jboss.util.NestedThrowable.detectDuplicateNesting=true | 2005-07-20 17:36:25,140 ERROR [org.jboss.deployment.MainDeployer] could not create deployment: file:/C:/jboss/jboss-4.0.2/server/default/deploy/myapp.ear/mymdb.jar | org.jboss.deployment.DeploymentException: Verification of Enterprise Beans failed, see above for error messages. | at org.jboss.ejb.EJBDeployer.create(EJBDeployer.java:553) | at org.jboss.deployment.MainDeployer.create(MainDeployer.java:918) | at org.jboss.deployment.MainDeployer.create(MainDeployer.java:910) | at org.jboss.deployment.MainDeployer.deploy(MainDeployer.java:774) | at org.jboss.deployment.MainDeployer.deploy(MainDeployer.java:738) | at sun.reflect.GeneratedMethodAccessor49.invoke(Unknown Source) | at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.java:25) | at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Method.java:324) | at org.jboss.mx.interceptor.ReflectedDispatcher.invoke(ReflectedDispatcher.java:141) | at org.jboss.mx.server.Invocation.dispatch(Invocation.java:80) | at org.jboss.mx.interceptor.AbstractInterceptor.invoke(AbstractInterceptor.java:121) | at org.jboss.mx.server.Invocation.invoke(Invocation.java:74) | I need class isolation for log4j. [JBoss-user] [Management, JMX/JBoss] - How to register an MBean in JNDI Context..?
Hi, I am new in JBoss/JMX development. I have created a simple MBean and it works fine for me. Now my requirement is that I need to register this MBean in JBoss JNDI Context and need to access it from JNDI Context. So please help me how and where I register my MBean in JNDI context..? Is there a way to specify the Jndi Name in jboss-service.xml, so JBoss read from there and register automatically in JNDI context. or do i need to write code to register my mbean in JNDI Conext..? I seen JNDIMap example in Chapter 2 of JBoss4.0 Guide where JNDIMapMean itself is registering in JNDI InitialContext. Is that the way todo that..? Please reply thanks.
