[JBoss-user] [Clustering/JBoss] - Re: How to isolate clusters ? Modifying mcast_addr isn't wo
I had modified the mcast address in the configurations for the two servers on the first cluster node machine, but only in the configuration of one of the servers on the second cluster node machine. Bonehead carelessness burned me good (and for all to see since I posted about it), but fortunately I figured it out before too long. --James View the original post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bbop=viewtopicp=3872098#3872098 Reply to the post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bbop=postingmode=replyp=3872098 --- This SF.net email is sponsored by Demarc: A global provider of Threat Management Solutions. Thanks for the responses. A dumb mistake on my part was the problem, and now that I've corrected it the multiple clusters configuration is working as advertised. --James View the original post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bbop=viewtopicp=3872058#3872058 Reply to the post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bbop=postingmode=replyp=3872058 --- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users. This is for sure a configuration issue with your mcast_addr settings in cluster-service.xml and tc5-cluster-service.xml ! We have a working configuration (JBoss 3.2.7 RC2) View the original post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bbop=viewtopicp=3871896#3871896 Reply to the post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bbop=postingmode=replyp=3871896 --- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users. I am not sure I can explain the wierd behavior you are seeing, but the reason there are two files that ultimately contain JGroups configurations is that one is for JBoss AS clustering (cluster messaging via JMX, clustered EJBs, etc) and the other is for Tomcat clustering/session replication which does indeed use JBossCache.
