I didn't want to post my code because there is alot of it. 
However, i think i have have solved the problem. And yes you were right.. i had 
incorrectly set my annotation relationships.

it could help if u post the code,
i guess is you dont have proper annotations specified on your relationships, or 
entity accessType is Field and your annotations are specified on getters or 
vice vesa.
