I can notice the following service configurations.. jboss-portal.sar\portal-core.war\jboss-portlet.xml service-nameCMS/service-name service-classorg.jboss.portal.cms.CMS/service-class service-ref:service=CMS/service-ref jboss-portal.sar\portal-samples.war\web-inf\jboss-portlet.xml service-nameCMS/service-name service-classorg.jboss.portal.cms.CMS/service-class service-ref:service=CMS/service-ref As per your suggetion, I would like to stop cms service its CMS DB operations. If I comment/takeout the above service entries.. Is it stops cms service completely?? or Do I have delete cms-portal.sar, cms-portal.war its corresponding entries for cms windows, pages etc ?? But doing this will be brave experiment !! Please advice me what to do.. We would like to use in production We dont need cms service. For More Info I have also tried with new 10g Oracle Driver. But that dint work for me wondering Do I have to make any settings in jboss AS or is Iam missing anything on portal side?? As mentioned in the docs, CMS is not reliably clustered in 2.2.1. We recommend that you de-activate the CMS service if you intend to use Portal in a clustered environment. The issue should be fixed in cvs for 2.4. However, you should try the install you have, in non-clustered mode. It may not be a clustering issue at all, and could simply be Oracle9 not liking the CMS hibernate stuff.
