Thanks for the good work. ok! I've reported the major issues we found and attached corresponding improvements.. the JIRA issues are http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBWS-366 - Improve performance of SOAPFactoryImpl http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBWS-367 - Improve performance of SOAPElementAxisImpl http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBWS-368 - Improve performance of DOM/SOAPElement serialization These fixes will mainly affect those webservices that use the nodatabinding option in wscompile (together with for example xmlbeans) or/and those that use the ElementSerializer directly.. the performance gain is for us several 100%.. hope the same is true for you others ;-) regards! /Ole View the original post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bbop=viewtopicp=3890886#3890886 Reply to the post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bbop=postingmode=replyp=3890886 --- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects Teams * Testing QA Security * Process Improvement Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf ___ JBoss-user mailing list JBoss-user@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/jboss-user

Post individual patches on JIRA using context diffs against the latest codebase e.g. cvs diff -U 5 Include any benchmarks (explanations or preferably code) so we can evaluate in what context you claim these improvements ;-) View the original post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bbop=viewtopicp=3889605#3889605 Reply to the post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bbop=postingmode=replyp=3889605 --- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects Teams * Testing QA Security * Process Improvement Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf ___ JBoss-user mailing list JBoss-user@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/jboss-user

ok thanks! The fixes are so far pretty obvious stuff (i.e. caching of objects, etc..) so you should be able to follow my line of thought fairly easy ;-) regards! /Ole View the original post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bbop=viewtopicp=3889606#3889606 Reply to the post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bbop=postingmode=replyp=3889606 --- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects Teams * Testing QA Security * Process Improvement Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf ___ JBoss-user mailing list JBoss-user@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/jboss-user
