First, some JMS vendors actually DON'T make their objects serializable.  Second 
have you tried this?  Or are you just assuming at this point.  Third if this is 
the case and I access the JMS Administered objects from a global JNDI tree that 
is external to JBOSS, will the JMS invocations be network centric, because the 
parameters are, or will the JBOSS implementation figure out that the calls are 
within the same VM so it is an in process call.  Please advise.  Thanks.

ok, let me try and ask the question a different way.  Can I serialize the JMS 
administered objects, ConnectionFactory and Destination, for queues and topics. 
 Are the objects constructed in such a way that makes serialization easily 
possible?  

If designed right, these objects should only contain parameter information for 
your connection and knowledge of what destination to go to.  If this is 
possible I can construct a global JNDI tree (external to JBOSS) that will have 
the information to access JMS externally from the JBOSS environment thus 
creating a more extensible solution.

Please help.
