RE: [JBoss-user] anyone using jboss with cmp in a production site?
Yes, we're aware of this. Netscape 6.2 implemented a new script engine which is not backward compatible (unusual for Netscape as IE is backcompatible). This is an issue for our whole of site navigation and will be looked at shortly. -Original Message- From: Dain Sundstrom [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, 2 September 2002 9:29 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [JBoss-user] anyone using jboss with cmp in a production site? Re: [JBoss-user] anyone using jboss with cmp in a production site?
We do! We use JBoss 2.4.4/JDK1.3.1 and JBoss3.2.0/JDK1.4.0 incl. CMP in more than one production site. These run under Windows2000 Advanced Server Cluster and under Linux 2.4.X Clusters (native HA clusters, not JBoss-level clustering). The application is not web-based but uses thick clients. Typical tasks are - online supply chain execution and transport management - online managing of shop floor systems - online managing of real time control systems - online bidirectional integration of ERP order data in a 24/7 production plant using a proprietary JMS Provider to interface to the production environment. We are about to integrate hot-redeployment of EAR-scoped modules combining EJBs and JMS MBeans without service interruption and have first promising results. Enjoy, Michael Dr.-Ing. The JBoss Group is currently working on several case studies of large production sites, but I'm not the person to reveal the details. All I can say for now it that the case studies are on the way. If you want prerelease details, you could hound Ben. -dain Emerson Cargnin - SICREDI Serviços wrote: > Any way, it could be useful to share those info with all jboss users. > This onfo is needed to make estimate the necessary infrastructure. > It could start by JbossGroup : ) what kind of cluster do you use, how > many simultaneous (or by minute, second, etc) access, what kind of > architecture it uses (cmp, bmp, direct jdbc)? Any way, it could be useful to share those info with all jboss users. This onfo is needed to make estimate the necessary infrastructure. It could start by JbossGroup : ) what kind of cluster do you use, how many simultaneous (or by minute, second, etc) access, what kind of architecture it uses (cmp, bmp, direct jdbc)? Let's share information guys, all of us will win with that. [JBoss-user] anyone using jboss with cmp in a production site?
I'd like to ask to all jboss users : Is anyone currently using jboss with cmp in production. I mean a very load site, with thousands of clients and transaction per minute. If the answer is yes, what kind of infrastructure are you using (hardware cluster, jboss clustering/farming) and what the configuration of the servers. I think that feedback on this could help not just me , but almost all jboss users. -- Emerson Cargnin - MSA SICREDI - Tel : 3358-4860 --- This sf.net email is sponsored by: Jabber - The world's fastest growing real-time communications platform!
