[JDEV] Conferencing WOES
I am trying to setup Jabber on our servers and have had some success, but also some problems. I have conferencing installed and did a make on the conference.so, which does exist. I've set things up exactly as said in the README file but when trying to connect using MyJabber I get Not Implemented. How can I resolve this issue? Thanks ___ jdev mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mailman.jabber.org/listinfo/jdev
[JDEV] RE: Conferencing WOES
I'm sorry, but I have been having problems with joining these list (I think there is a problem with Sendmail and joining these list, but that's another matter). Is anyone receiving this? I have been pulling my hair out for 2 days now. Any help would be appreciated: -Original Message- I am trying to setup Jabber on our servers and have had some success, but also some problems. [JDEV] MSN Transport
I have complied the MSN transport successfully and added the appropriate info in the jabber.xml file. When I start JIM I do see the MSN Transport section, and when I attempt to see a add a gateway all seems to go well, except that the gateway never appears. Any ideas? ___ jdev mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mailman.jabber.org/listinfo/jdev
Re: [JDEV] MSN Transport
Never mind. I got it. Needed to have the @hotmail.com on the end of it. -Original Message- From: "Vernon" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Jabber Dev" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Thu, 28 Feb 2002 20:33:53 -0500 Subject: [JDEV] MSN Transport > I have complied the MSN transport successfully and added the > appropriate > info in the jabber.xml file. [JDEV] Multiple Domains
Is there anyway to have more than one domain setup on a Jabber Server? ___ jdev mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mailman.jabber.org/listinfo/jdev
[JDEV] SSL
Is the jabber chat room down? I can't connect... Anyway, I've gone through all the procedures to compile and enable SSL, setup the info in the jabber.xml based on someone else's (which is working so I'm sure it is correct), but when a user tries to connect using SSL I am getting a message that says: mio_ssl.c:238 SSL accepting socket with new session 8479a30 mio_ssl.c:256 Error from SSL: error::lib(0):func(0):reason(0) mio_ssl.c:27 SSL Error in SSL_accept call Any ideas? ___ jdev mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mailman.jabber.org/listinfo/jdev
[JDEV] Help needed - PLEASE!
I have posted repeatedly to the conference room and it seems as if either no one knows the answer or no one wants to respond (hope I didn't over extend my welcome). In any event I cannot seem to get the conference rooms to work any where but internally. When I try to get to conference.jabber.org I cannot. Nor can I use the find option, all of which returns a 502 error message, Server not found, which doesn't make any sense to me since I can telnet from the box to that server, I can also telnet externally into the box through port 5269, the jabber.xml is fine as I use in on another box that I setup and it works there. I also get the same error message when I try to use the MSN or icq transports. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as I have now been working on this same problem for nearly a week.
