How to combine Trigger with Notifier

2014-09-12 Thread Dominik Ruf
Hi,

I'm planing a plugin that has different aspects (Trigger, Builder
and Notifier).
Is there a way to combine the Trigger with the Notifier (and Builder)?
The idea is that if the user activates the Trigger, the Notifier is
automatically executed as well.
The user doesn't need to activated the Notifier separately.
Maybe it is even possible to hide the Notifier from the user.

cheers
Dominik

Re: New composer-columns plugin

Sounds like a good idea too Fred, +1 for adding it to an existing plug-in then
:)

Hi,

In my unwinnable quest to stop uncontrolled growth of tiny plug-ins
(especially listview-column plug-ins), I'd highly recommend to merge these two
plug-ins together.
I think it's a perfect fit to include columns that depend on third-party
software/plug-ins with plug-ins that depend on the same software.
Common columns without any dependencies should be bundled in the Extra Columns
Plugin.

Regards,

Fred

Hi Javi,

Sounds like a useful plug-in. I haven't had time to look at this repo [1],
but in case you are interested in releasing a composer-plugin for Jenkins,
that could serve as basis too. It hasn't been released yet.

Hello,

I've created a new Jenkins plugin witch allows to show composer.json version
in view columns. Soon, I want to add more column features: dependency
version, etc.

I would like to host this plugin in jenkinsci github repo. Now it's hosted
at https://github.com/ javihgil/composer-columns- plugin.

Best.

You removed the license and copyright statements from the source code, as well
as the license file of the original plugin? Seriously?

better than serving a DMCA takedown I had planned, plus he was blocked on

Forked as https://github.com/jenkinsci/aws-beanstalk-publisher-plugin and
created 'aws-beanstalk-publisher' in JIRA.

(I also created jenkinsci/aws-beanstalk-publisher accidentally, please don't
use that.)
