If you have an env variable with e.g. double quotation marks a call to jobinjectedEnvVars/export/api/json will create invalid JSON.
If for example if the Variable is declared as export VAR='test"test"test' it would create the following output ... {"name":"VAR", "value":"test"test"test"}

It seems to show the replica of projects configuration but surprisingly, it allows modifications. Project properties are stored on configuration level. Builds steps are propagated to the parent project. Renaming configuration throws UnsupportedOperationException and leaves the configuration in inconsistent state. All in all I conclude this is not a feature (it is not referenced from sidebar after all) and the page should not be served at all.

We added the "additional Credentials" realm stuff - this did not help. we have a single repo with a number of sub project trunks. we have an externals definition which pulls in the required sub projects (from the same repo). Jenkins 1.638 subversion plugin 2.5.4. I have just seen there are updates available, I will try this. I've fixed that and the job now succeeds. However, perhaps the Subversion Plugin message: Fetching at -1 into is rather confusing. I don't understand what is meant by '-1'. Perhaps that message could be improved? Title: Message Title Ian Smith commented on JENKINS-17614 Re: Jenkins triggers builds on git SCM changes, but nothing changed I've managed to trigger this problem again on 1.598 of Jenkins with the git client plugin v1.6.4 and git plugin v2.0.4. What seems to be the trigger is doing a git cherry-pick -x from HEAD to a branch and the building of the branch via an SCM update resulting in multiple builds. I don't know if it's the extra git commit at the bottom of the message that causes the issue but I haven't seen this issue for a while which corresponds to a lack of backports from HEAD to a version branch. Method to re-create 1. Push a fix to HEAD 2. Cherry pick the change to a branch using git cherry-pick -x 2bedf18808f066a29d84bcb3301308cd6b81d0fe 3. This produces a commit similar to Commit header Commit message ... (cherry picked from commit 2bedf18808f066a29d84bcb3301308cd6b81d0fe) 4. Wait for the SCM update to trigger on the branch 5. As the poll is set to every 5 minutes I then get a new build started every 5 minutes as it seems that Jenkins seems to think the last build was the one done before the cherry-pick and keeps spinning more builds. I'm wondering if the extra commit reference at the end is confusing the parser. I've made at least one mistaken comment on this bug report assuming that polling was enabled, even though the original submitter clarified that polling was not enabled on the job which originally prompted this bug report. Each Jenkins build is executed on a dedicated Docker container that is wiped-out at the end of the build. That sentence seems to imply that every jenkins build will trigger it's own dedicated Docker container, when in fact it won't, due to apparently the Cloud API limitations. So, just as a quick question ( I haven't looked ) but does the Cloud API allow for adding executors to a Cloud container? So we could select X amount of executors in the ECS Slave template? Or is that out of the question as well? rather than $ {foobar}
I'm pretty sure (but not willing to bet my house) that windows supports multiline environment variables.
