[JIRA] (JENKINS-32719) Ability to load properties from a file
Title: Message Title Nikolay Driuchatyi commented on JENKINS-32719 Re: Ability to load properties from a file I'm using the latest (2.1.0) JaCoCo plugin on Jenkins. I include around 40 classes to be covered by unit-tests in Maven's pom.xml: org.jacoco jacoco-maven-plugin 0.7.7.201606060606 pre-unit-tests prepare-agent post-unit-tests test report com/company1/Class1.class com/company2/Class2.class ... com/companyN/ClassN.class The same I have to do on job settings page to set up JoCoCo Jenkins plugin and get the same code coverage. As a result I get a long line containing all the 40 classes names separated by commas. It would be easier to maintain job settings by specifying an external file containing inclusions/exclusions. [JIRA] [testng] (JENKINS-20985) TestNG plugin should has a possibility to use thresholds for failed tests
Nikolay Driuchatyi commented on JENKINS-20985 TestNG plugin should has a possibility to use thresholds for failed tests I have several jobs with different number of skipped and failed tests on each of them. I need to have a possibility to set an acceptable number of the failed and skipped tests. When number of skipped/failed tests is more than threshold value then this job should be set to unstable/failed. This is my point of view. Also would be good to have different strategies e.g. to have a possibility to set number or percentage of the skipped/failed tests depending on requirements. [JIRA] [testng] (JENKINS-20985) TestNG plugin should has a possibility to use thresholds for failed tests
Nikolay Driuchatyi commented on JENKINS-20985 TestNG plugin should has a possibility to use thresholds for failed tests Unfortunatelly, I'm using Ant and I don't have such problem and can't reproduce it. In my case, after running of the tests, build marked as successfully. I receive "Unstable" or "Failed" result after publishing of the TestNG results. This message is automatically generated by JIRA. [JIRA] [testng] (JENKINS-20985) TestNG plugin should has a possibility to use thresholds for failed/skipped tests
Nikolay Driuchatyi created JENKINS-20985 TestNG plugin should has a possibility to use thresholds for failed/skipped tests Issue Type: New Feature Assignee: Nalin Makar Components: testng Created: 12/Dec/13 1:28 PM Description: Current version of TestNG plugin does not have a possibility to use thresholds values for failed and skipped tests. If some build has at least one skipped or failed test then this build will be marked as unstable. I suppose that would be good to have some mechanism to leave build as successfully instead of unstable with using of threshold values for skipped/failed tests.
