Jacoco plugin should make it configurable to persist old Java/Class files or not, as generating trend chart shouldn't require keeping the entire data set but trend chart can be generated incrementally, as most people wouldn't need to go and analyze older code coverage reports. More background information on this request: We have complex jenkins architecture and that's why we have recently made all the jobs SVN branch agnostic and they all get SVN branch name as parameter, now there are certain jobs which I don't want to run parallel for each branch for e.g. while trunk is being compiled, it can't compile trunk again but it should be able to compile any other SVN branch.
